More PC Madness, Gitmo Edition

Well, this is just fabulous news! No wonder why Michael Savage calls liberalism a "mental disorder."
Someone please explain to me why known Jihadists captured in battle and detained at Guatanamo Bay get more consideration and respect from liberals than the very soldiers who defend their freedom. You know, the same troops lefties claim to support?
Thanks to liberal belly-aching over the "poor" "innocent" Muslims being "unfairly" imprisoned by an "overreaching" American President, American and Allied soldiers faced even more peril at the hands of 30 released detainees who immediately rejoined the Jihad upon their release (and here Nancy P., Harry R. and their merry band of Defeatocrats thought for sure they'd return to their respectable farming careers...go figure!).
Here's an excerpt from the The Age article:
AT LEAST 30 former Guantanamo Bay detainees have been killed or recaptured after taking up arms against allied forces following their release.
They have been discovered mostly in Afghanistan and Pakistan, but not in Iraq, a US Defence Department spokesman told The Age yesterday.
Commander Jeffrey Gordon said the detainees had, while in custody, falsely claimed to be farmers, truck drivers, cooks, small-arms merchants, low-level combatants or had offered other false explanations for being in Afghanistan.
"We are aware of dozens of cases where they have returned to militant activities, participated in anti-US propaganda or engaged in other activities," said Commander Gordon.
Do liberals want to win this battle or not? Or is the thought of the War on Terror succeeding under President Bush more repugnant to them than the Stone Age brutality of these murderous ideologues?
I guess it hasn't occurred to them that Jihadist barbarians are equal-opportunity killers: The severed head of a liberal is just as valuable to them as that of a conservative or moderate. Nor do they seem to care that American and Allied soldiers are out there fighting for all members of the free world, no matter how maliciously maligned they are in the mainstream media and other bastions of liberalism, including Academia.
No, they perpetuate the myth of the American soldier as either a victim that needs rescuing, or worse, a predator that needs taming. At the same time, in their alternative universe, Gitmo detainees are squeaky-clean citizens whose only offenses consist of having dark skin and an affinity for the Prophet Mohammed. Don't try confusing them with proven facts about these prisoners when there's a damaging PR campaign to be waged against the President they so loathe. Too bad it's our soldiers who bear the brunt of their severely misguided worldview. As if it isn't difficult enough to be on the front lines, our soldiers had 30 more raging Jihadists to deal with -- an unnecessary hardship that could have easily been avoided by keeping them locked up in Gitmo where they belong.
If only liberals could redirect some of their palpable hatred for President Bush and America to a much more worthy target, maybe we would actually stand a chance of overcoming this evil.
